So how do you like it so far?

We are starting our second page of posts which seems like a good time to get feedback.

As time has gone on, I have become very used to the way this site works and, on the whole,  think it serves our needs at least as well, if not better than our old site. How say ye?

Like it. Dislike the "previews"- take up too much room, but on the whole, quite nice!

And Jerri, I noticed the same thing ... "someone" wrote under my avatar, too! LOL!

Yes, it did it the first time that I opened it today (same computer, browser, settings, etc.) but not since.

I really like the new digs!  I think I tossed the wrong cookie.  That's probably the reason I had to re-log in.  no Ah, it loks like I have to re-do the font family after the emoticon.  A minor flaw.

My eyes are (knock wood!) good, but does anyone else find the default font size to be a bit small? I use FireFox - it may look different on IE.

Judy - best to type whole post- emoticon and all- and then just "cntrl A" and do the whole post's font at once. At least until we see if Jon can fix that. wink

I have upped all the font sizes that are available to me to up. But if you changed from the default font in the past, your post will still appear in the old font size.

There is no way, apparently, to change the default font in the box where you type.

In order to change the font in the box, you can't use the "quick reply", you have to use the "reply" button in the last post.

Ah ha! You can type your response in the Quick Reply box and then click on "Advanced Editor" to insert smilies, change font, etc.

confuse Now how to premanently get rid of those huge, annoying previews!  You can do it manually but it only lasts until you refresh the page.

If you click on your name to bring up your profile, and then click on "Settings," you can change "Topic Preview"  to any one of four options.  You can also decide to receive emails anonymously or have your email displayed, and change all time displays to the format you are comfortable with and to display in your own time zone.

Yes. To the right, when viewing your posts, you'll see a little dropdown marked "More." One of its options is "Edit"
